And also, knowing that it’s okay to fall. Knowing that it feels like you won’t get back up, but you will. Knowing that despite it all, you still want and need and breathe. Trusting in your instinct to find beauty again.
I wanted to share that I’ve started to save your newsletters for my Monday morning pre-“work” ritual. Your writing gives me such a beautiful orientation to the week ahead, to the actual work ahead (eg. not the stress or annoyances that crop in my 9-5 desk job). Thank you for always providing such comfort, kindness, and gentle nudges to ground into what’s truly important, and our own humanity.
And also finding words to help heal and sparks of ideas from others to show me I am not alone and there are small tiny things I CAN do. Thank you for these words.
And also: I have a piece of the puzzle. You have a piece of the puzzle. We come together with the other puzzle piece holders to put the puzzle together, which will show a new image of what life can be, when we are done.
And also, the physical grounding touch of the people you love, the here and now, the vitality of life that exists beyond the murk and dark feelings. The open arms of the ocean.
And also, bringing people together in my Zoom spiritual support groups to acknowledge our pain and discuss what helps each of us nourish and sustain our weary souls.
And also, reading powerful, love-infused reminders on substack. Thank you for this. It touched tender places :-)
Grateful it reached you 💛
And also…holding and honoring all the parts of me that just want to feel safe.
Yes to this 🙏🏻

And also: They can’t unsparkle the stars
(Maybe also titles I’m toying with if I start my own substack)

Yes fear, yes rage, yes grief. And also yes to love, yes freedom, yes reciprocity, yes taking care of ourselves and one another.
Yes to all 💛

And also, birds living their lives with no regard for us, cats purring at our sides, a flood of sudden sunlight. Thank you for this guide and care. xo
And yes tomato soup ❤️https://makepurethyheart.com/vegan-amish-tomato-soup/
Beautiful and needed. What a challenge to hold the both/and, the me/not me. A challenge we are up for.
