As someone who’s almost 61, most of the Shoulds and rules and the Pressure of Doingness have fallen away. I never saw myself as a doer even when I was young and now I have deepened into just Being. I’m so grateful for this moment, this life, this presence and I’m fully worthy of every little joy I experience. Thank you for sharing your in-the-moment insights. They’re precious. YOU are precious ❤️
I always appreciate your posts. I appreciate that they are not too frequent (as in, not written and posted for the sake of keeping to a schedule). Short or long, I appreciate that you show up when it feels right to you--at least that's how it feels when reading your work. As a reader, I can feel this intention, which is why I always stop and take a moment to read your posts. Thank you for creating these moments of calm reflection in this busy world. This is important work you're doing.
Wow this was so encouraging and much needed. I woke up this morning feeling like my day really had no direction and I knew I’d like to get back to sleep for a bit more before starting the day “officially.” I leaned into that and got the nap in. Then I saw this shortly after. I’m just going to keep telling it slow and follow my body’s lead🙏🏾
I always appreciate your reflections - powerful reminders. Excited for your second book and for you to go back to seeing clients tomorrow! Also, kudos on this beautiful new certificate and how it will support and integrate your therapeutic work 💛
"and and and" So many thoughts and things to do. I listened to my body today that is so tired and just not feeling the best. I played Family Feud with my 17 year old who finally wants to play games with me. Presence for my kids, and presence for myself. Thank you always for the gentle reminders. Our power was out for a few hours last night and they hung out in my room. They are quite talkative late in the evening! I miss their little snuggly selves but these teen years are interesting.
Thank you for this offering. A beautiful reminder of the medicine that we possess within us, the the ability to be more present in our lives. As someone who struggles with rumination, mindfulness in different areas of my life has been instrumental in healing and finding peace, and sometimes I need that reminder.

All of this, yes 🧡 such wisdom. Thank you.
You say you’re going to stop trying to say something profound - and yet that’s exactly what you did! As always, thanks for your words of wisdom.
Thank you for reading 🧡
Read this aloud to my husband today. We both needed this - thank you ❤️
So glad 💛

Follow the body's lead, yes 💛
Congrats on finishing the program! I got my Masters from CIIS and was always curious about pursuing that program for post- masters.
Also, lovely writing today, per usual ;) Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! They have a lot of wonderful programs.

If we over plan,
how will synchronicity
find and surprise us?
...
If we over prepare,
how will serendipity
catch, astonish us?
...
If we over think
how will spontaneity
delight us, school us?
Lovely as always 💛 thank you.
Enjoy feeling that weight of your precious little one.
Waking up to, tending to, surrendering to what the most tangible present invites us to experience 🤍 Making that choice.
PS: "I deleted my second brain". Chills.

Thank you. I might say that this is the most beautiful text I've ever read from you.
